Special Prayer Request - Bishop Franklin R. Massengale

As I write, our pastor at Clinton, Tennessee, Brother Russell Massengale is in the Critical Care Unit of a hospital in Oak Ridge. He needs your prayers. The lack of information prevents me from posting more, however, I have been in contact with the family every 45 minutes.

Please take a moment right now to pray for this man of God, who has pastored the Clinton church for over almost 35 years.

Please pray for my pastor. He is a true man of God. His sermons has touched my heart each and every service. I have never seen a more humble, caring, loving pastor as he is. I have been going to the Clinton Church Of God Of Proghecy for about three years now, and have felt the presence of God in each service, My pastor is a Shepherd that cares for his flock. Please pray God will touch him and bring him to a full recovery. Thanks, Kathy

I am so priviledged to have Bro. Massengale as my pastor. I have attended the Church Of God Of Prohecy for three years, and you could not ask for a more humble man of God. He is such a loving Shepherd to all who enter, he is so caring and kind to everyone. I appreciate his stand for the Lord and his messages he brings from God's word. Please pray for him. God is still on the throne and in the healing business. He can restore him back to health. Remember the family also as they are at the hospital, that God will comfort and give them strength as they are there with Bro. Massengale. Kathy Carter

After all, this chapter is about faith, and what better way to teach faith than to illustrate with some real-life examples. Mos of the people in this chapter are well-known, at least by anyone who spent time squirming in a Sunday School class as a small child, or who watched the late-night movies on the local channels featuring their stories. Who were they? Abel, Enoch and Noah. Abel pleased God with his excellent offering, Enoch was so close to God that he actually walked with God to the point that one evening, while walking God said to Enoch, "we are closer to my house than we are yours, so why don't you just go home with me?" Of course, Noah built an ark (according to God's instructions) that saved mankind from total destruction. Then there was Abraham...the father of the faithful. He...

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
