Last month, our travel schedule was so heavy that we spent only a few nights at home. That is not so unusual, but it seems the schedule is heavier than usual. Tonight, I am writing from the seventh floor of a hotel in Nassau, Bahamas, with everything packed and ready to fly home tomorrow. My body is tired m: my spirit is stirred. Not long ago, someone asked me, "why do you keep going like you do? If you don't slow down you are going to wear out." Its really simple.
I have only a short time of influence left in this world and I want to make a difference. As we rode the bus to downtown Nassau yesterday, the girl with her young child in the next seat couldn't have been more than 13-years-old. I witnessed to one of the vendors on the street corner about the Lord's goodness. Later that day, she actually came and found me to tell me that someone had prayed for her, and told her exactly what I had, and she was making plans to be baptized.
In the hotel lobby, it was a kind word to a man who look as if he'd lost his last, best friend.
Last week it was another lost soul looking for some hope in life. As I testified of God's goodness, I wondered how all these people will be reached. My mind goes to the Scripture.
"Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." (John 4:34-35)
I go because I can't stop...I won't stop...my time is limited and the harvest is ready to be reaped. I pray for the Lord to send help...but I can't wait till they get here...there is work to be done...won't you join me?

Excellent. I'm putting on my work boots. One is labeled favor and the other is labeled anointing. God gives us those two things to enable us to work hard and get the job done. Noah found favor with God and then worked building his miracle for 100 years. David was anointed king and had to fight for every inch of ground. Keep fighting, keep working Bishop. You are an inspiration.
