Emerge Renovation Dedication

Today I was privileged to minister the Word at the Emerge Church of God of Prophecy in Lebanon, Tennessee.  My wife Debra and two grandchildren, Reagan and Madison traveled with me and were present too.

Walking into the new entrance-way and sanctuary were like walking into a brand-new church building.  The church, under the direction of Pastoral Team Larry and Kelly Meadors have overseen what can justly be described as a transformation like nothing I have ever seen.  Gone is the old worn look of much use and in its place a more youthful, vibrant and colorful facility.  I do not have the words to express the change.  If you have ever attended that church, you need to see it now.  Wow!

As always, we received a warm welcome and was so thrilled to see all of the progress of the work there.  Along with old friends, there are a lot of new congregants.  The worship team was excellent and filled with the Spirit

The ladies of the church honored my wife for her birthday (March 21st) and showed their love to her.

I am thankful to be a part of a growing, thriving church that has an eye on the future and not the past. Congratulations Pastors Meadors and congregation.  Thank you for allowing me to be with you on such a special day.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
