Update on Drew Smithson

"Update on Drew: He has shown some improvement today. They are still keeping him sedated but once every hour or two they let him wake up enough to do the neurological exam. He hasn't spoken but he has opened his eyes several times, he has moved both arms and legs when they tried to inflict pain on him. If they pinch a certain area he will try to go to that area with his hands which is good. Once ...today he opened his eyes, I was with him, and he followed the nurses finger with his eyes which is fantastic! Still giving him heavy meds to keep swelling down. The pressure on his brain needs to be less than 20 and it has stayed around 6 to 9 today. Please continue to pray for the swelling to go down and stay down and reduce fever and well since we're asking.......complete healing! Love to all,

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
