Senior Saints Thanksgiving Feast

Yesterday, Debra and I joined a lively group of senior saints at the Roberts Tabernacle church for a Thanksgiving luncheon. Karen Coley and the ladies of the church organized and served a wonderful meal, along with some fun time and special singing. We are so thankful for the loving ministry that takes place in our churches across Tennessee so often displayed in these type events.

Barkley Lake

Debra and I arrived at the Lake Barkley resort center yesterday around 4:00 p.m. The foilage painted a beautiful picture before us, along with the deer feeding alongside the road and the water fowl on the lake. This has become an annual event as we travel to assist the International Women's Ministries Department in one of the many regional retreats conducted by Cathy Payne and her staff. What a lively crew! The theme of the weekend is "Awake" which is a continuation of our International General Assembly from Nashville this past August. Transition

As many of our regular readers know, we have transitioned our daily blog posts to the Tennessee Church of God of Prophecy state office website. We are thankful to have a highly functional, relevant website. You may find the website by clicking here . This transition was rather quick, but I've decided to continue posting here, only instead of posting from the standpoint of the Bishop of the churches of Tennessee, I have decided this will be a good site to share information of a more personal nature, especially as it regards my personal ministry, travels, etc,. I do hope you will check back from time-to-time and see the changes we will go through. God bless. Bishop McKinley
