Ximo and Judy send thanks

Dear Brother McKinley, your Family and the churches in Tennessee, Greetings from Kentucky! This is our last morning, we fly back to Spain in a few hours.  But we want to acknowledge our appreciation for your service at the Assembly, for your smiles of encouragement, and for the offering (the practical credit card) for our use during this time.  It was so nice to be here and soak in the inspiration of our Lord for the next period of time before us.  It’s always good to see you and please extend a greeting to the churches who contributed and we send our blessings to Y’ALL in Tennessee. Note:   We will continue to post thanks as they are received.

Gift Cards to Missionaries

Once again this year, the churches of of Tennessee gave a special love offering to help our National Overseers with their expenses while attending the International Assembly.  Special thanks to everyone who worked so hard to share the blessing. Because of the generosity of the people of Tennessee, we gave each National Overseer/missionary a gift card in the amount of $50 to spend as they desired.  A total of 74 cards were given.  As you might imagine, this is a VERY large amount of money for these Gospel ministers and they were delighted to receive them. There was a common question asked by the recipients, "Tennessee is not hosting the International Assembly, why are you doing this?"  Each time I explained to them, "because the people of Tennessee love you."  There were tears and embraces from the missionaries and I wish those of you who gave could have seen their faces. Once again, your generosity is so appreciated and you have touched the lives of people you

The 97th International Assembly is now history

Earlier today, Debra and I returned home from the 97th International Assembly of the Church of God of Prophecy hosted in Louisville, Kentucky.  It was a wonderful blessing to see so many of our old friends and to make some new ones. This was a powerful gathering of our delegates from over 130 nations of the world and every state in the United States and it's territories.  The entire assembly was built around the CORE values of the Church of God of Prophecy, and reports of the great work taking place across the globe. In the next few days, I will be sharing highlights and testimonies.  I invite you to check back each day for news and information.

International Presbyter Meetings

As I write tonight, we have I am back in the hotel room after a day filled with meetings of the International Presbytery of the Church of God of Prophecy. Leaders gathered from across the world, dedicated to finding the Will of God, and to sit together to discern His voice to this movement in this generation. Meeting in morning, afternoon and evening sessions, Debra and I were tired from the long day and decided to skip on our supper meal, returning to the room to prepare for another long day tomorrow and for me to study part of our 20/20 Vision Presentation being shared tomorrow. We are only days away from the official beginning of the International Assembly, but the buzz of activities has already started. We look forward to an anointed time of worship, word and fellowship. Remember, you can watch the International Assembly on the internet by going to www.cogop.org and clicking on the Assembly tab and then click the webcast tab. We are hoping to see you here, but just in case you can

Prayer Request for Kim Horner

As I write, it is almost midnight on Monday Night/Tuesday morning.  Debra and I just arrived in Cleveland, as I have committee meetings here on Tuesday.  We have been in Memphis since last night in order to be with Kim Horner, our pastor at Curtis Hill's (Ritchie) this morning for surgery. The doctors had found cancer on one of her kidneys and surgery had been scheduled for this morning at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.  Kim was in good spirits this morning and was in surgery for about three hours.  Once we learned the surgery was over and Kim was doing well, we made the drive from Memphis to here.  Through several storms the Lord kept His hand on us and we are always grateful for His protective Hand. We called while on the road here and Ritchie had received a good report from the doctor and they believe the cancer and some tissue around it was successfully removed. I was especially impressed to see the large group from the Curtis Hill church at the hospital provi
