Death Notice - Bishop John Doroshuk

From General Overseer Randall Howard: "We mourn the loss of our dear Brother and Bishop John Doroshuk. He was carried across Jordan's river last night while the family sang around his bed. He was a great Missionary Apostle and God used him to reap an awesome harvest in the revival lands of the former Soviet Union. Our prayers go out to Sister Ruth and the Doroshuk family." -- Post From My iPad

Very Special Prayer Request

Hey Bishop I would like to ask a fovor of you. My little sister had her baby monday, the baby has anencephaly, she has no skull just skin covering her brain, she has no eye sockets, and she has a open place in the top of her head where you can see her brain. The dr.'s give her no chance to live, she was born on 7/18/11 monday at 5:30 and she has lived for 5 days now. They said she would not eat, she is nursing, they said she would open her eyes, she has opened her eyes, she sucks her thumb, she tries to raise her head up, she just amazing. What I would like you to is ask the COGOP of TN to be in prayer for her, her name is Finley. I would like them to not just to pray for her to live but that God make her whole.... With love, Jason..., thanks so much. God bless and have a great day.

A Thanks from Bishop Richard A Neal, Sr

Thank you to the State of Tennessee and all of the Churches that I have had the opportunity to pastor. It has been an awesome adventure. I have had a blast in every position, as Pastor, Campground Manager/Coordinator, District Overseer, etc. But most of all, Thank You to all of the Special People who I have had the privilege to serve. I love you all! Please pray for me as I enter this new phase of ministry. A huge part of my position as Director of Bethesda Mission Inc. will be to search for money to help the needy of Houston County pay utility bills. If you would like more info please email me at rnealsr@peoplestel.net . Richard Neal

State Convention Follow up

On Sunday afternoon, delegates and friends returned home still glowing from a marvelous experience. It seemed as if the Lord showed Himself strong in such a special way, ministering to thirsty souls. In each session the Spirit brought such unity and peace. In subsequent posts I will be sharing highlights for those who we're unable to attend. I personally thank everyone who made this a convention to remember. -- Post From My iPad

The long delay...

Dear friends, It has been quite a while since I've posted. Above everything thing else, the times of prayer and preparation for the Tennessee State Convention has been weighing heavy on everyone on the state staff. With the youth camps finishing up this week (we were able to visit all of them) the level of activity for all of the staff will ramp up a little more. I am so blessed to have such a capable group of people to work alongside in Tennessee, and there is no way to show the gratitude I have for them. The convention will convene next week, Friday, July 15th at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. We look forward to the ministry of Kay Horner, Dr. Tom Renfro and a powerful worship team. With anticipation we look to see a special move of God among His people gathered there. In the next few days, I will be posting highlights from each session of the convention on this blog. I will be pointing to it from our Facebook accounts, on the Sta
