Praise Report - Bellshire

Dear Bro. McKinley, I wanted to write to you today and share some wonderful news. As you know, our driveways at the the church are in pretty bad shape. I made contact with Bellsouth recently and ask if I could meet with a company rep in reference to the damage one of their trucks did to our blacktop. Two men from Bellsouth met with me just a few short minutes ago and said that the company would fix not only the chuckhole their truck made, but also the driveway that their trucks use on a regular basis. In all, their willingness to help us out in our moment of need has just saved the church about $4000. Praise the Lord. Shannon

Praise Report - Pine Grove

Great things are happening at Pine Grove. God has been blessing our church in many different ways these last few months. 4 Victory was in concert at Pine Grove on August 20. What a wonderful time of worship. On September 30, 2006 Pine Grove celebrated Friends and Neighbor Day. We had approximately 325 in attendance. This day was designed for the Pine Grove neighborhood. We had a representative from the sheriffs department discussing the neighborhood watch program. Fun was had by all in attendance. We have just completed a flooring project in our fellowship hall where we installed ceramic tile. We had revival October 15-18 with our local ministers. Brother Charlie Erickson, Brother Jimmy Bivens and Pastor Rice were our evangelists for those nights. Our senior ladies took a trip on our new church van to Muddy Pond for sorghum and to the Russell Stover Candy store. A fun time was had by all. We recently honored one of our Sunday school teachers for her many

Praise Report - Turtletown

Greetings, Just thought I let you know we had a great day at Turtletown yesterday. We had 101+ for Sunday School and 120 for morning worship. I preached on forgiveness and six were saved in a wonderful alter service, 5 adult men and one young lady. One of the men prayed through to the Holy Ghost. Our total morning offering was $278.00 plus about $360.00 to the parsonage building fund was pleaged. The Watson Trio were our special singers and we served over 200 peices of Chicken, along with all the trimmings. God is Good! Brother Barry Lee

Clinton Homecoming Services

Debra and I were blessed to worship with the church at Clinton, Tennessee today. Special musical guests, "The Ingrams" from Cleveland, Tennessee ministered in song and really blessed the congregation. After the morning service, the was an open "Jam session" led by Tony Coile (and someone doing a good Ray Charles impression on the piano) and a multitude of musicians. It was an awesome event! This event was followed by dinner on the grounds, as the ladies of the church worked especially hard to provide a great meal for the whole church. Special thanks to Brother and Sister Franklin Massengale for the warmth and kindness. God is good!

Huntingdon Homecoming Services

Glorious time today at the Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy! The presence of the Lord was very evident as 60 plus came to enjoy the Homecoming. The Walkers ministered in great fervency and anointing. They ministered in song (many written by them) with a powerful message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a great time! We were thankful to note that the new property has been paid off and $3000.00 was donated today for the furtherance of the ministry in the development of the new property. We joyfully move forward to reach others for Jesus. We also anticipate the time that we begin building the new multi-purpose building. The fellowship was great - not to mention the food. We also are very thankful for new visitors Gloria and Tay and Tay's children Dontaye and Takita. We are also thankful for the newest addition of babies to the church - twins (a boy Easton and a girl Delaney) of Chad and Kim Byars. God is blessing and we are praising Him and rejoicing!

Congratulations to the Andersons...prayer still needed

Congratulations to Bernie and Tonya Anderson, members at the Columbia church. They have been blessed with the birth of twin girls this past week. The babies were born prematurely and will be hospitalized a little while. I have included a couple of pictures for you here. Will you still join us in praying for the whole family? Here is a copy of the email I received from Bernie along with the photos: Ok. Here they are! We're holding Ashlyn only. The one with the big white respirator in her mouth is Abigail. Pray for the darlins. Ashlyn Faith - 2 lbs. 6oz 15in. Abigail Grace - 2lbs. 13oz. 15.5 in. They came at 28 weeks 2 days. Born Oct. 26th, 2006 at 8:04 and 8:05. Sorry about this quick e-mail, but I'm so busy. More to come later. Mom and the girls are doing pretty good. Peace, Bernie Anderson

October World Missions - A Call to Action

The Great Commission is filled with verbs; it demands action. Information is useless unless you respond to the call and act. Cover your missions emphasis with prayer. Discuss global needs with other leaders. Lay the world's challenges before your people. Expect the Holy Spirit to direct them to do more than they have ever done before. Action is the evidence of conviction.   This Mission News Update shares current mission information you can use in your Sunday school class, care group, youth group, or children's ministry to mobilize your entire church. The Global Outreach web site will have all of these stories and more for your use during the month of October.   Plea From Belarus   Pastor Henadzi (Gena), national overseer, serves in Belarus, a 21st century mission frontier. The people of this former Soviet block country continue to experience subtle and overt repression of human rights and religious freedom despite government protestations to the contrary. Praise Report - Huntingdon, TN

Huntingdon Church of God of Prophecy purchased approximately 7.5 acres a little over 3 years ago for $45,000.00. The property today (after clearing, landscaping, installing water and electricity with a 30x40 ft. pavilion) is estimated to be worth $70,000.00. In a local church business meeting, after hearing the treasury report and with funds available, it was motioned and seconded and approved by the church conference to pay the balance of the property indebtedness (a little over $5000.00 balance). We will be celebrating this in our Homecoming on October 29, 2006. We thank the Lord for this in the ministry here and for the faithful leaders and workers here who have reached this milestone. We look now to continued ministry and to the future and moving forward in plans for building a multi-purpose facility for growth and ministry.

Last night the Lord bless again in a special way. There was a good crowd gathered, and I was happy to see two of our pastors join us for the services. Pastor Milton and Karen Gordon from the Huntingdon church and Pastor George Wallace from Lebanon. Tonight will be the final night of this series of meetings, however I know that revival flames will continue to burn at the Lakeside church. Again, special thanks to all for their prayers! God bless you.

Revival Services - Lakeside Church (Monday)

Last night, we again gathered at the Lakeside church in Westmoreland. There was a great crowd gathered, and once again, the worship service was powerful. The revival will continue through tomorrow night, and I will be starting another revival at the Carthage church on Sunday morning, going through the following Wednesday evening. Will you join me as we seek a move of the Spirit in Tennessee? Remember, we are to be a "Spirit Driven" church. God bless you!

Revival Services - Lakeside Church

Today, Debra and I were a part of revival services at the Lakeside church in Westmoreland. Bishop F. Leon and Faye Graves gave us a warm welcome and the services were powerful. In the morning services, the worship level was high and the excitement level was outstanding. The house was filled, so much to the point that it was hard to get an actual count of the attendance. The altar service was powerful, as God moved into the place. The people are hungry for a move of God! In the evening service, the Lord blessed us again, with a large crowd and great worship and ministry. I was so impressed by the level of "body' ministry going on in the servies. The people prayed with and for one another. Our services will continue through Wednesday evenings, with the meetings starting at 7:00 p.m. nightly.

Kentucky Ministers Conference

On Friday and Saturday, Debra and I were blessed to be a part of the Kentucky Minsters Convention conducted in Elizabethtown church. Debra was a guest speaker speaking to pastors companions and I taught the same class twice on the subject of Leadership with a Kingdom Focus . We are thankful for Bishop Scott and Brenda Gillum for such a warm welcome and the opportunity to share with the saints of Kentucky.

How can you judge?

"Judge not, thqat ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." (Matthew 7:1-5) Having a combined 10 years of service in the area of law enforcement has given me distinct ability to recognize a fact about human beings...we don't always judge matters correctly. Now you might say, "he should be a rocket scientist with such knowledge," but if you'll give me a little lattitude, I'll share with you what I mean... I have gone to the scene of a crime and whether my role was as a patro
