District Leadership Meeting

On Sunday night, March 9, 2008, our area wide meeting for the McMinnville area is planned, and we are hoping to see all of our churches attending. If you have not attending one of these vision-casting meetings yet, we hope you will be able to make this one.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. at the McMinnville, North Hills church.

As you know, there is a storm watch/warning for most of Tennessee for tonight and tomorrow. I do not know how this will affect our meeting on Sunday night, but if something should happen to change the meeting, I will post it here and send an announcement to the email addresses I have.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Raising your Leadership GPA

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
