City Life Church

This morning, I was blessed to minister in the City Life Church in Des Moines, Iowa where Pastor Tim Shipley serves as the Senior Pastor. The Leadership conference we conducted on Friday night and Saturday was hosted in this church, and we stayed over after the conference ended to minister at Pastor Shipley's church.

We had a great service this morning, and the worship service was excellent. Afterwards we dined with the Regional Overseer Bishop Steve and Latanya Madrid.

As I write this entry, Debra and I are at the Des Moines airport and will be flying out shortly to be back in Tennessee tonight. We are thankful for the opportunity to come and share in a region with a great harvest ready to come in. God is good!

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
