Special Prayer Requests

Today, I spoke with Brother Richard Neal, our pastor at Erin concerning his parents. Since suffering a stroke, Brother Neal's father is still paralyzed and the family is doing an admirable job of trying to look after him. Last week, Brother Neal's mother suffered a stroke too. While indications are that it was a minor one; coupled with Brother Neal's Father's condition, you can see the obvious need of prayer.

Also, I visited with Pastor Glen O'Kain today at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Over the weekend, he apparently suffered a heart attack, even though he was unaware of it. As most of you know, Brother O'Kain hs been in and out of the hospital for quite some time now.

Please join me in prayer for these special needs.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
