'Hello dear brother Ted,
Hope everything is fine with you, I am very happy because of the blessings we have received from God.
Yesterday Jun 09, we purchased the property for ALTO SALAVERRY Mission church. It is a happiness for us. Brother Rafael coordinated with my Dist. overseer sister Edith SaladaƱa to purchase the property, I also helped sister Edith. So, Sister Edith, Brother Felix, Pastor Pedro Urbina and I went to purchase the property to Alto Salaverry.

However it's not the one you saw when you were here, because the owner didn't want to sell his property, he said he was going to travel to another city to work, that was the why he wanted to sell his property, but then he changed his mind.

However, God gave us a better property, near the PanAmerican Highway
, it is 7.5 meters wide x 25 meters long, it is the enough space for the church and for Pastor's house. Moreover the property includes 1000 bricks that the owner had bought for the property, and 17 big roof tiles. It costed S/. 8000 and with the rest of the money we are going to start to build the church. THANK YOU VERY MUCH brother Ted because as I told you, you were the instrument God used to do this miracle. Pastor Felix and his family are VERY happy. They are praying so much for you and for all the American brothers and sisters.
God bless you so much brother Ted.

Your brother and friend,
Martin Morales."

Come Down From That Ivory Tower

Hebrews 11 has become known as the "Hall of Faith." The reason is quite simple. The writer spends a great deal of time giving a role call of the heroes of the faith. After all, this chapter is about faith, and what better way to teach faith than to illustrate with some real-life examples. Mos of the people in this chapter are well-known, at least by anyone who spent time squirming in a Sunday School class as a small child, or who watched the late-night movies on the local channels featuring their stories. Who were they? Abel, Enoch and Noah. Abel pleased God with his excellent offering, Enoch was so close to God that he actually walked with God to the point that one evening, while walking God said to Enoch, "we are closer to my house than we are yours, so why don't you just go home with me?" Of course, Noah built an ark (according to God's instructions) that saved mankind from total destruction. Then there was Abraham...the father of the faithful. He
