Cleveland Area Pastor/Companion

 

On Monday evening, Debra and I had the privilege of sharing a meal and fellowship with the wonderful pastors and companions of the Cleveland/Chattanooga area of our church.

Bishop A.J. Coalter assisted me in the preparation for the meeting and the fellowship was sweet and wonderful.  The support and promises of prayer from our pastors and their companions continues to amaze me as we travel from area-to-area, and we will be forever grateful for the expressions of love that continually flow to us.

We now look forward to the final meetings of the fall with our pastor/companions, as we gather with the Dickson area tomorrow night, then with West Tennessee at the first of the next week and ending with the Nashville area pastors after that.

Tennessee is privileged to have such caring, loving shepherds among us.  May God bless you as we continue to serve together.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
