Synergize2 Billion Soul Pastors Conference

For our regular readers of the blog, you will notice that it has been several days since I’ve posted on a regular basis. Since Tuesday morning of this last week, Debra and I joined several other leaders in the Church of God of Prophecy at the Synergize2 conference in Orlando, Florida. This network is dedicated to seeing one billion souls added to the kingdom of God and to see new churches established.

The presenters at the conference minister to all of us in a special way, and one of the highlights was the prayer sessions where leadership from across the Christian realm and from around the world gathered.

Among the delegation from the Church of God of Prophecy was our General Overseer, Bishop Randall Howard, World Language Director, Bishop Gabriel Vidal, TC Director, Bishop H.E. Cardin and overseers, Bishop Robert F. Davis (VA), Bishop Tim Coalter (SC), Bishop Fred Lawson (OH/WV), International Women’s Minister, Catherine Payne, and several pastors.

We are believing God for a great outpouring of His Spirit and a fresh renewal in the Body of Christ of the commitment to reach our world. Together, we can do it.

New Pastor Appointment - Peerless Road Church

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Pastor Brian Sutton to serve as the new Senior Pastor of the Peerless Road Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Brian comes to us from the Cliff Haven Church in Sheffield, Alabama. We welcome Brian and his wife Renee and their two children, their daughter Tayler and their son Will. I know you will give a warm Tennessee welcome to them.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.
