Deacon Jim Wyatt

I am sad to share the news of the passing of Deacon Jim Wyatt of the Erin Church.  Jim passed away yesterday after a long fight with cancer.

When I served as the Senior Pastor at the Columbia Church, Jim and his family moved from Michigan, and he served as a local deacon and his wife Mary, who preceded him as an evangelist.

Our hearts and prayers go out for Shlo and Mark and the rest of the family.  I will post arrangements when I receive them.

Jim was a good man and the church has suffered a loss with his passing, but Jim has fought a good fight, finished his course and kept the faith.

Viewing is on Tuesday, April 24 from 1:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral is at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 25.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
