Prayer Request - Ruby Ledford

This morning I drove to Knoxville to visit with the Ledford family as Sister Ruby Ledford underwent surgery. I sat with Bishop Ledford, Pastor Terry Barnwell and Brother and Sister Ledford's daughters while she was in surgery and was happy to hear a good report.

About half way through the visit, retired minister, Bishop Edsel Hartman dropped by and we had a wonderful visit.  I enjoyed his sharing of stories from Bible Training Camp, which later became Bible Training Institute and of many of the ministers who were legendary to me as a young minister, and whom I still hold with deep respect.  We have a blessed heritage of which I am so thankful for and and I am thankful the Lord kept His hand on Sister Ledford today.  Please join me in prayer for her quick recovery.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.
