Well friends, Thanksgiving Day is later this week. I know that is probably not a newsflash to you, but I thought I would mention it in case you jumped right into Christmas preparations...after all, there are about five days less of shopping and Wall Street needs for you to pay attention.
As usual, the television, radio, newspaper advertisements are coming at us in all directions, and if that is not enough, chances are that you will be receiving phone calls from marketing agencies to buy products. Christmas decorations will increasingly appear around you and before long Frosty the Snowman will start playing on the radio.
With all that in mind, I would like to encourage you to slow down and realize that this week should be set aside to remember our blessings and pray for God's intervention in our lives. To spend time with friends and families and enjoy the blessings of good food and fellowship.
I trust you will find much to be thankful for and that you will remember the greatest blessing of all...God loves you so much that He can't take His eyes off you.
