Please read and pray

From an email I received today:

Dear Friends,

I just wanted to let you know that LaNada, Nathan Tag & the girls have vistas in hand and are scheduled to leave for their 4 year mission journey to Indonesia on July 24th. Most of you know that LaNada and Nathan each served a couple of years in China before they met and married and that LaNada’s parents (Freddie & Juanita Harding) were missionaries in Germany for a number of years when LaNada and her siblings were children. Missions are part of their heart and soul. We are very please to be able to support them with our prayers, friendship, and finances, as I am sure many of you are also. Even after two plus years of going all over the US sharing their hearts and vision, they still only have 82% of the support they need. They are part of “New Tribes Mission” whose office in the US is located in Sanford , FL.

Would you please join us in praying for LaNada and their family, and, if the Lord thumps your heart, send them some financial support. Their account number is 202710 with New Tribes Mission, 1000 East First St , Sanford , FL 32771 . The website is ntm.org/give/2250. Their email address is nathan-lanada_tag@ntm.org if you feel like sending them email blessings.

Thank you so much,
Evelyn & Jerry

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
