This morning I attended the funeral service for Bishop Leonard Kendrick at the Peerless Road Church in Cleveland, Tennessee.
There was a large crowd in attendance for a special homegoing celebration. In attendance was a very large group of young ministers whom Bishop Kendrick served as a mentor. Also in attendance were the General Overseer, the General Presbyters, and a multitude of retired ministers from several church movements.
His family shared during the services both in song and verbal expressions.
Bishop Steve Wilson, pastor of PRC, former PRC pastor and current Presiding Bishop of South Carolina, Tim Coalter and current Presiding Bishop of North Carolina, Steve Gilmer (nephew) all shared wonderful words of comfort and encouragement.
Again, I am humbled that I serve with such wonderful, anointed men and women of God.
