Attention Pastors and Other Ministers in Tennessee

November 23, 2010

Dear Fellow-laborer;

I trust this letter finds you well, enjoying the Lord’s blessings and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit in your daily work.

I am writing today to remind you that the calendar year ending is drawing close, and our office will be preparing the necessary tax statements/information reports necessary for you to complete your Federal Income Tax returns. The reports will include your tithing/offerings to the State Office for the period of January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010.

It is our goal to get this information into your hands in a timely manner, and to allow time for any questions to be answered.

Please check to make sure that you are up-to-date on your monthly reports to the State Office, and that your tithing/giving is clearly reflected on those reports.

Finally, I want to thank you for your dedication to the work of the Lord, and for your ministry in the Church of God of Prophecy. Thank you for your faithfulness in tithing and giving; as your faithfulness ensures a continued ministry to the people of our churches and beyond.

Debra and I love and appreciate you so much. May the Lord bless and keep you.

Sincerely,

E.C. McKinley
Presiding Bishop of Tennessee

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
