Update

Dear Friends,

I shared a few minutes with one of our pastors this evening, and he shared that he checks the blog regularly for prayer requests, etc. He knew that I would be going out of the country and asked if I had pictures. With that said, thought I would give a quick update.

Last week, Debra and I spent seven days in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where I ministered at a leadership conference, and taught a class of about two hundred pastors on the "mission" of the church. It was a great trip, and although we thought Hurricane Thomas was going to hit Santo Domingo straight on (it moved toward Haiti instead) we had a wonderful time. I am posting a few pictures here to give you an idea of the conference.

We returned Monday night (late) and worked some in the office on Tuesday. Yesterday, I had to make a trip to Mississippi and back, and today we are at Lake Barkley, Kentucky for the Regional Ladies Retreat. On Sunday, I begin a revival at the Keith Street Church in Cleveland. Then...PowerHOUSE at the campground. As you can see grass doesn't grow under our feet, but time is short and there is too much work to get done before the Lord returns. I hope you enjoy the pictures, and I appreciate your prayers. God bless.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
