Happy Mother's Day

Today, all throughout the United States, we will celebrate a day set aside to honor our mothers. Those of you whose mother is still alive will have the opportunity to pamper and pet her, while others of us will allow our minds to wander back to the days when "mom" was still with us.

Today, we are with our son Shaun and his wife Stephanie in Cleveland, where I will be preaching at the Peerless Road church in the morning service. Our daughter, Lindsey is here as well, so that we can honor my wife and our children's mother, Debra. We will take the time to allow her to be queen for the day. I do hope you will have an opportunity to do something special for that "special" lady in your wife too.

My mother went to be with the Lord 15-years-ago, and I miss her more now ever. If your mom is still with you, take the time to tell her how much you love and appreciate her, I wish I had done that more with my mom. I've included a picture of mom, Geneva on my blog today.

God bless you is my prayer today, and I do hope the line at the restaurant won't be too long for you!

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.
