One Day Children's Ministries Intensive - West Nashville

Dear Pastor and Children's Ministers,

Just wanted to remind you that there will be a one-day CM training intensive at the West Nashville church on January 13. The intensive targets local children's ministers including Sunday School teachers, VBS and camp volunteers, children's worship directors as well as the leader of children's ministry. Participants will be involved in hands-on learning focused on the concepts of passion for children's ministry, developing as a leader in children's ministry, winning children to Christ, principles of discipleship and involving kids in ministry.

Registration before December 15th is $25 per person including a light breakfast snack and lunch as well as training materials. After December 15th registration is $30 per person.

Please come be with me on Saturday, January 14th!

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
