Meetings, meetings, meetings....

Today has been a full one. Besides seeing the new granddaughter in Cleveland, I spent much of the day in meetings. Besides those of taking care of internal business, I had an afternoon meeting with the chairman of the Global Day of Prayer, Michael Obi, and with Cleveland Net, Larry Cockerham. We discussed upcoming prayer events, and spent some time in prayer together.

This evening, Debra and I met with our retreat committee at the Springplace church to finalize the materials and events for our upcoming marriage retreat in Pigeon Forge. Special thanks to Winston and Vernetta Reid, John A. and Judy Stone and Paul and Barbara Holt.

We are looking forward to a great retreat and successful prayer events in May. God bless.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
