This week, I've been in the final stages of making all of the arrangements for the Tennessee State Convention, scheduled for July 27-29, 2007 at the Chattanooga Convention and Trade Center. Once I've received notice from our host hotel that they have received our contract, I will be able to give you hotel information.
You will note that I have chosen to reduce the length of the convention from Thursday through Sunday to Friday through Sunday. This will benefit our bi-vocational ministers more than others, along with some of the laity who will take off of work on Friday, and not have to miss two days of work.
I am expecting the convention to be a powerful one, and we will have great fellowship, worship and preaching of the word. I do hope you will make plans to attend this special weekend that comes only once every two years.
