At the end of another full week

This last week's travels have been so hectic that I haven't had time to post on a regular basis...for that I apologize. After returning home late Sunday night from Cleveland where I participated in the Global Day of Prayer event, I left the next evening to return to Cleveland again to participate in Unity of Ministry Committee meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday.

At the conclusion of the Wednesday night meeting (around 10:00 p.m.) I returned again to Hendersonville in order to try to catch up on work.

The next morning (Thursday) we left Hendersonville and traveled to Columbus, Georgia where I was the commencement speaker for the graduating class of 2007. It was a great event that went very well. I've included a photo here of a portion of the program, and am looking forward to returning to Tennessee in the morning.

Now...well, its full-speed ahead to the State Convention in Chattanooga next month. We are looking forward with anticipation.

For those of you who continually tell me you are praying for us, I want you to know how much we appreciate it. They have sustained us in the past 30 days of difficult, almost impossible schedules. God bless you.

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
