I would like to hear from you...

As we near to mark of over 30,000 visitors to our daily blog, I would love to hear from you on a given number of subjects. I have been working on a monthly newsletter to pastors, that I hope will be extended to other ministers which is currently to be delivered by postal mail, and I would also like to post an online version for anyone to read.

In the inaugural issue last month, I covered the thought of bring ministry into the 21st Century, with other topics as well. What would you like to see in such a paper? I know it will only take a minutes or two, or perhaps you could write a lengthy paper on the subjects you would like to see covered.

Currently, our State website serves our constituency, along with the Women's, Men's and Youth and Children's ministries websites. Hopefully, after the camping season, we will have one up and running for our camping ministries.

I am asking you to CLICK HERE to send me your thoughts on what you would like to see covered on this blog, as well as what you would like to see in a monthly newsletter for the ministry.

If a newsletter written for ministers is a success, I believe one could be written dealing with issues for the laity as well. Having said all of that, I want you to know how much I appreciate your input. May the Lord bless each of you.

Mos of the people in this chapter are well-known, at least by anyone who spent time squirming in a Sunday School class as a small child, or who watched the late-night movies on the local channels featuring their stories. Who were they? Abel, Enoch and Noah. Abel pleased God with his excellent offering, Enoch was so close to God that he actually walked with God to the point that one evening, while walking God said to Enoch, "we are closer to my house than we are yours, so why don't you just go home with me?" Of course, Noah built an ark (according to God's instructions) that saved mankind from total destruction. Then there was Abraham...the father of the faithful. He...

Prayer Request

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services. If your schedule will not permit I understand, but I just wanted you to know. Love you and have a blessed day; Bro. Terry
