Good News from Lakemoore

I would like to share some news from across the state. I received this note from Bishop Robert Carpenter this afternoon...


"Brother McKinley I trust all is well with you and the family.

I wanted to report to you about our VBS. We had a total of nine saved and I baptized five of those last Sunday evening. Praise the Lord!!!

Lakemoore is also getting a new church sign to go down at the highway. It will be 6'x8' double panel with two 2'x8' LED message centers one on each side. We have been wanting to do this for some time now. Praise God we will be able to share Jesus with the thousands of people that pass by everyday!

We will continue to pray for state convention, see you there.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
