Lebanon Church

Yesterday, Debra and I had the distinct pleasure of ministering at the Lebanon church.

I was asked some-time-ago Michell Brooks-Young invited me to teach a Sunday School class on the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. The class was attentive and it was a thrill to spend some time on a subject that is very dear to my heart and very real in my personal life.

Afterwards, Pastor George Wallace asked me to minister in the morning worship service. There was a great crowd, good spirit and it was a wonderful time in the Lord. One person gave her heart to the Lord during the altar service!

God is so good to allow us to live, work and minister around such wonderful people in Tennessee. We are so honored. God bless.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
