Prayer Updates

As you can see from the time stamp, it is almost 10:30 p.m. as I am posting. Debra's mother underwent bypass surgery today, and after the surgery was completed (while she was in recovery) she suffered another heart attack. The doctors had to go back in to do more work.

I spoke with Debra just a few-minutes-ago and she said that her mother is still in the critical care unit, and is still on the ventilator. Debra will be traveling home early in the morning to be with our daughter Lindsey as she returns to her doctor to have packing removed from her surgery last week.

As you can see this intersection of several events has made it necessary for me to be out of the office for several days. I am checking messages and trying to do what I can from home.

Will you please continue to pray for my mother-in-law, for my daughter Lindsey, and for Debra as she drives home from Kentucky? God bless you.

Yesterday and today have been filled with non-stop preparations and meetings for the General Assembly. The State/National Overseers will be traveling to begin meeting this week in Nashville. Will you please join me in prayer for travel mercies for all of those on their way to Nashville? Also, Sister Wilma Massengale is still in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. This precious lady and her family need our prayer support, and I hope you will join me in prayer for them, believing the Lord is able to meet their need.

Death Notice - Clara McMahan

I AM SHARING A NOTICE I JUST RECEIVED FROM PASTOR TERRY BARNWELL (KNOXVILLE- ARROWHEAD) Hi Brother; I pray your day is going along well. I wanted to let you know of the passing of Sister Clara McMahan this morning. Her husband Claude has served as deacon for over 52 years at the Arrowhead church. This wonderful lady has touched thousands of lives across Tennessee. She is the sister of Charlie Weaver. The day you and Sister McKinley were with us on the Home Coming Sunday if you remember the youth presented this couple with a light house they had built for them. Sister Clara will be greatly missed greatly. I will let you know the arrangements when I get them if you wished to attend the services.
