This afternoon, my Dad was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML). With no treatment, he has one to two weeks to live. He could go to Vanderbilt for an extensive five week treatment, but the doctor said he could die during the treatment. His last option is chemo in Crossville which could give him as much as one to two years. He plans to take the chemo and treatment will start on Monday.
They have not looked any further at the liver. We do not know how this will factor into the situation.
Again, his greatest need is to give his heart to Christ.
Thank you for your prayers.
